M.Sakkari v Kr. Pliskova (11:30 am)

This is the first time these two have met in what is already a very open women's competition. You can expect mid-ranked players to step up and perform.

#44 Kristyna Pliskova is one of the players who looks in top form and very comfortable on the grass court. Against #101 Maria Sakkari, the Czech Republican should progress to the next round.

Recommendation: Pliskova to win @ 4/9

A.Murray v D.Brown (3.00pm)

The current Wimbledon champion and world number one returns to the court today after a convincing straight-sets win over #135 ranked Bublik.

Today's match against the erratic German Dustin Brown, however, will push Murray to perform. While the Brit is carrying a hip injury, he always gets a big reception on Centre Court which should drive him on to victory.

Recommendation: Murray 3-0 @ 8/15

P-H. Herbert v B. Paire (3.30 pm)

Pierre-Hugues Herbert faces his fellow countryman Benoit Paire in what will be their second match on record. Herbert won their first contest in straight sets and has been in fine form leading up to the tournament.

After overcoming a wounded Nick Kyrgios in the first round, this will be a big test for Herbert, but he should have enough to progress at Paire's expense.

Recommendation: P-H. Herbert to win @ 11/10

C. Witthoeft vs. A. Sabalenka (3.30 pm)

Another match to look out for today is Carina Witthoeft v Aryna Sabalenka. The two have not met before and both had a fantastic qualifying run to make the tournament.

While Witthoeft is higher ranked (#69) compared to Sabalenka (#122), the latter is yet to be beaten on grass. With odds of 6/4, backing her to win the match looks like smart money.

Recommendation: A. Sabalenka to win @ 6/4

R. Nadal v D. Young (5.00 pm)

As the men's competition looks wide open with Murray carrying an injury and Wawrinka being knocked out in the first round, Nadal will want to start the tournament strong.

The Spaniard has beaten his American opponent twice in straight sets and should be able to do so again on the grass. It would be a surprise to see Nadal drop a set in this one so 2/5 on a 3-0 victory seems a safe bet.

Recommendation: R. Nadal 3-0 @ 2/5
