About 30 Minutes, No More Than 45
Justin Moorhouse is a talented Mancunian stand–up with a Radio 4 sitcom, a couple of TV appearances and now this likeable podcast series to his name. The setup is refreshingly uncontrived: every week, he simply takes a high–end dictaphone around with him and records what he's up to, before editing the whole thing down to (you've guessed it) somewhere between 30 and 45 minutes.
In a less capable presenter's hands this would be a recipe for mass tedium, but Moorhouse has plenty of gregarious Northern charm and a usefully varied schedule (pubs, clubs, a gaggle of fellow comedians and a vaccination clinic all feature in the first two episodes).
