Just £75 per year
For the last few years, Channel 4 have been soliciting pitches from new comedy writers and performers and making the best ones into zingy, online-only video shorts, available on YouTube, Vimeo, comedyblaps.channel4.com, and via this video podcast strand.
They are, for the most part, extremely funny – and are certainly brighter, quirkier and more admirably risk-taking than anything I’ve seen on network TV for a while.
I particularly enjoyed a recent trio of episodes from Liam Williams, a young northern comic with a touch of David Mitchell about him.
